Mexico - Public Consultation on Technical Standard for Fans

On 23rd June 2026, the Mexican Ministry of Energy (SENER) released the draft official standard PROY-NOM-041-ENER/SE-2025, to solicit public comments on energy efficiency, safety requirements, testing methods, and labeling requirements for fans. This draft aims to regulate fan products manufactured, imported, or sold in Mexico, covering categories such as ceiling fans, wall fans, floor fans, table fans, and “3-in-1” fans.
