Indonesia - Revision of the Regulation for Telecom Devices Supporting LTE/5GNR

On 25th November 2025, the Ministry of Communications and Digital of Indonesia (KOMDIGI) announced in a socialization that the NOMOR 352 TAHUN 2024 will be revised. The regulation primarily specifies the technical parameters and requirements for subscriber stations, base stations and repeaters operating on LTE and/or 5GNR bands. The main points areas follows:

1.     Add LTE B41/5GNR N41 (2496-2690MHz) for subscriber stations and base stations.

2.     Add Appendix VIII to include requirements for 5GNR repeaters.

3.     Add unwanted emission parameters for base stations operating in 850MHz.

4.     Equipment and devices already certified will require re-certification if they intend to use the additional B41/N41.

The new regulation will take effect one month after its publication. The effective date has not been announced yet. Alphabet Team will closely monitor the regulation status and provide timely updates.
