Nigeria - Spectrum Roadmap for the Communications Sector (2026 – 2030)

Recently, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) officially released the Spectrum Roadmap for the Communications Sector(2026 – 2030), providing a detailed overview of Nigeria’s spectrum planning, including strategic pillars, spectrum management, future outlook and implementation plans. According to the roadmap, NCC expects to further expand 4G/5G bands, complete the framework for the lower 6GHz band, and focus on licensing the upper 6GHz band over the next five years.
