China - CCC Safety Technical Specification for Power Bank Officially Published

Further to the Alphabet Newsletter issued on 13th January 2026, China’s Mandatory National Standard, the Safety Technical Specification for Power Bank (GB 47372-2026) was officially published on 31st March 2026, and will come into force on 1st April 2027. It is expected to play an important role in regulating the domestic power bank market and promoting industrial upgrading and development.

At present, both the old and news standards may be implemented inparallel. Starting from 1st April 2027, power bank products must comply with the latest technical specification for production and sale.
