Indonesia - Results of 700MHz and 2.6GHz Spectrum Usage Selection

Further to Alphabet Newsletter issued on 27th April 2026, the Minister of Ministry of Communication and Digital of Indonesia(KOMDIGI) announced the results of the selection process for the assignment of usage rights for the 700MHz and 2.6GHz mobile spectrum bands.

The selection process consisted of multiple stages,including participant qualification, price bidding, and spectrum block selection, covering the 703-738MHz (uplink) / 758-793MHz (downlink) bands and the 2500-2690MHz band.

Based on the final results, the spectrum usage rights were awarded to local mobile operators PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk, PT Telekomunikasi Selular, and PT Indosat Tbk for the commercial deployment of 4G and 5G networks.
