Iraq - Launching Starlink services

On 1st July 2026, the Communications and Media Commission (CMC) confirmed that Iraq is close to launching Starlink services within a comprehensive regulatory framework at the opening of the third edition of the Iraqi Communications Summit. The head of the CMC confirmed that Iraq is proceeding with the completion of the procedures for licensing the Starlink service in its final stages.
