Indonesia - Reminder on the Requirements of Wi-Fi 6GHz Test Report

Further to Alphabet Newsletter issued on 14th February 2025, The Direktorat Jenderal Infrastruktur Digital (DJID) of Indonesia will implement new requirement for Wi-Fi 6GHz (5925-6425MHz) test report, which is based on the requirements specified in the KEPMEN NOMOR 12 TAHUN 2025 as below:

1. Before 15th January 2026, DJID only accepts Wi-Fi 6GHz test reports issued by BBPPT, the national telecom testing center in Indonesia.

2. From 15th January 2026, DJID will accept Wi-Fi 6GHz test reports issued by the following labs with relevant testing accreditation:

- Indonesian local labs

- Overseas labs that have signed a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) with Indonesia

Alphabet Team has also learned that local labs in Indonesia are currently preparing to establish Wi-Fi 6GHz testing accreditation. Alphabet will provide timely updates should further information be available.
